This man comes from money (his Mother is Gloria Vanderbilt....the designer... not to mention his forefathers the Vanderbilts from the 1800s build the railroad and pretty much owned very seaport in the US). Anderson could have done like very other silver spoon heir and just play golf or polo all day. But instead when to Yale and started his career in journalism.
He is not just a author/journalist, he actually goes to the source. He was one of the first to go to New Orleans DURING and AFTER the hurricane. He was also one of the first to go to Iraq during the war.
Anderson is rumored to be gay.....who cares. He is a socially conscience, HOT guy who's heart is more beautiful then his silver hair and striking blue eyes.

ReplyDeleteRumored to be gay? His partner's name, according to most 2010 news reports, is Ben Maisani. Why the question about Cooper's sexuality? Whether his partner's name is Shepard Smith or Ben Maisani, he's involved with a man, not a woman. So why even perpetuate the myth by pretending? Just call it what it is. Equivocation with labeling simply perpetuates the sense of shame we're to feel about being gay. If you out him as gay, and he's not, then he'll say he's not. If you write that "Anderson is rumored to be gay," then you've just perpetuated the myth that there's something wrong with calling another man gay. You probably wouldn't think to write that "Cooper Anderson is rumored to be straight." Ask yourself why not.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous, it is absolutely amazing to me that you read my "Stud of the Week" and you want to make it a big deal that I said "rumored to be gay". Until Mr. Cooper states he is gay I will not assume or listen to rumors. So, as far as I am concerned he is "rumored to be gay". MY MAIN POINT IS THAT HE IS SMART, FUNNY AND HOT....NOTHING MORE.
